Alex Meirowitz is entering his Senior year at New York University, where he will complete a Bachelors degree in his dual majors of Politics and Jewish History and Civilization (Honors) in the Spring of 2010. He is currently the president of the American Jewish Committee's NYU student society. Alex grew up in Manhattan and attended the Ramaz school where he was Student Body President. After graduating Ramaz, he spent a year of intensive study at Yeshivat Reishit Yerushalayim in Bet Shemesh, Israel. He then attended the University of Maryland for his freshman and sophomore years, and transferred to NYU for his junior year.
