Arye EdreiTel Aviv Univeristy Arye Edrei is a Senior Lecturer (with tenure) in the Tel Aviv Univeristy Faculty of Law. He has been a Harry Starr Fellow at the Center for Jewish Studies at Harvard University and a Golda Meir Fellow at Hebrew University. For three years he was on the Rector's List for Excellence in Lecturing at Hebrew University, the institution where he earned his LL.B., LL.M., magna cum laude, and Dr. Jur. He teaches primarily on Jewish law and the legal profession. Dr. Edrei is the author of "Encumbered Property: Contrasting the Property of the Purchaser and that of the Heir," Mishpatim (Hebrew); and has two articles in print, "Mitzva on the Orphans to Discharge the Debts of Their Fathers," Studies in Jewish Law, and "The Will in the Mishna and the Talmud," Shnaton Ha Mishpat Ha-Ivri. From 1996-1997, he taught at the Jewish Theology Seminar in New York and at Hebrew College in Boston, MA. |
