Daniel IsenbergCambridge University
Track 3: Seminar Leader Alan Mittleman Daniel Isenberg (Cambridge University) is from Stanmore in London, and is due to graduate this summer from Pembroke College, Cambridge, where he is reading History. Daniel's historical interests lie within the field of intellectual history and the history of political thought, and he has just completed his undergraduate dissertation on 'Representations of Moses in Seventeenth-Century English Political Thought'. Daniel has been named as a Foundation Scholar of Pembroke College, where he recently won the Brian Riley Declamation Prize for best speech on a European topic. His academic interests led him to found the 'Skinner Society: the Cambridge University Political Thought Society' under the patronage of Professor Quentin Skinner. He has also been involved in the university newspaper 'Varsity' as a film critic; been President of the Jewish Society; and has performed for the Cambridge 'Footlights' comedy society.
