Track 2: Seminar Leader Allan Arkush

Leor Sapir (University of Haifa) is from Kibbutz Sarid, Israel. He is currently a senior in the university's "Ofakim" Honors Program, pursuing an additional major in philosophy. Leor is research assistant to professor Daniel Statman in the field of ethics, and is a member of the "Posen Research Forum for Jewish European and Israeli Political Thought" under the direction of professor Fania Oz-Salzberger. He intends on continuing his studies and attaining a PhD, and his study and research interests include political philosophy, applied ethics, feminism and multiculturalism and war ethics. Leor is president of the University of Haifa Debating Society, with national as well as international accomplishments under his belt as a competitive debater. He also teaches rhetoric and debate to high-school students and IDF officers.
