Lisa Gilson (Tufts University) graduated summa cum laude from Tufts University with a major in Political Science in May 2010. As a freshman at Tufts, she found a passion for political philosophy, and continued her study at Oxford University during a study abroad program her junior year, furthering her love for this field of reflection and debate. She hopes to pursue her passion in graduate school and beyond, aspiring to eventually become a professor of political philosophy. This fall, she will be working as a teaching assistant at Tufts as well as researching the relationship between society, reason, and religion in the works of Leo Strauss and Freidrich Nietzsche with Professor Robert Devigne.
