Noah is a rabbinical student at the Rabbi Isaac Elchanan Theological Seminary and is pursuing a joint doctorate in Jewish Studies at University of California, Berkeley/ Graduate Theological Union, where he is a Mellon Fellow. Originally from Los Angeles, he graduated from Yeshiva University in 2009 with a BA in Philosophy and Jewish Studies and a MA in Hebrew Bible, writing a thesis on Jonah in Rabbinic and Islamic literature. Prior to university, Noah studied at Yeshivat Har Etzion (Gush) in Israel.
