Rachel IsaacsJewish Theological Seminary
Rachel Isaacs, originally from Manalapan, NJ, is entering her fourth year of rabbinical school at the Jewish Theological Seminary and is a Wexner Fellow. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from Wellesley College in 2005, was admitted to the Phi Beta Kappa honor society, and was chosen the student commencement speaker for her class. During her time at Wellesley, she served as co-President of her campus' Hillel at worked as a research assistant for Dr. Roxanne Euben. After graduation, she studied at the Pardes Institute of Jewish Studies in Jerusalem and ALMA Hebrew College in Tel Aviv. Additionally, she served as a research assistant to Dr. Michael Oren at the Shalem Center. Rachel currently lives in Brooklyn, NY and will be the rabbinic intern at the Park Slope Jewish Center next year. |
