Track 1: Seminar Leader Leora Batnitzky Tali Arbit (University of Pennsylvania) is a junior at the University of Pennsylvania and is majoring in Near Eastern Languages and Civilizations with a concentration in Hebrew and Judaica. (She is also pre-med, though that may or may not change.) After attending Frisch High School, she studied for a year at Nishmat, the Center for Advanced Torah Study for Women. She is one of the co-presidents of Penn's Challah for Hunger branch and, after being an active committee member for two years, will be the head of the Shiurim Committee of the Orthodox Community at Penn this coming year. Besides learning Tanach, she enjoys playing racquetball and playing the recorder. |
