Yael Fisch is a Masters student at the Department of Hebrew Culture in Tel Aviv University. She holds a Bachelors degree (Summa cum Laude) in Comparative Literature and Jewish Philosophy from Tel Aviv University. Her academic work focuses on the culture and textuality of the Babylonian Talmud, and is deeply engaged with political and literary theory. She is the recipient of several prestigious awards and scholarships such as the Ignatz Bubis Memorial Scholarship Fund in Jewish Studies. She is a member of the Advanced Beit Midrash at the Shalom Hartman Institute in Jerusalem. In the forthcoming year she will teach at Alma College for Hebrew Culture in Tel Aviv.
