Yael Misrahi  (Wellesley College) was born in Sacramento and grew up in Jerusalem and Cleveland. Yael graduated from Wellesley College in May where she majored in International Relations and Political Science and minoring in Jewish Studies. Yael studied abroad at the London School of Economics and Political Science and will be working in international development and conflict resolution in India as a World Partners Fellow with AJWS in India beginning in August. She recently returned from South Africa where she was conducting research on Jewish anti-apartheid activists. Yael  is passionate about Judaism and applying Jewish values to her work and studies. She looks forward to learning a great deal at Tikvah this summer.
