Yedidya Schwartz is a native of Riverdale, New York, and is currently a junior at Yale University. A graduate of the Bronx High School of Science, he spent a year before college studying at Yeshivat Maale Gilboa in northern Israel. Yedidya has participated in the Jewish Week's Write On For Israel program, and served for a year as the Vice President of Media Affairs of the Yale Friends of Israel. Additionally, Yedidya is the gabbai of the Yale Orthodox minyan, an executive editor of B'Iyyun - an intercollegiate journal of contemporary Orthodoxy - and the Business Manager of Yale's Jewish a cappella group, Magevet. Yedidya has done grants-related and accounting work at the Conference for Jewish Material Claims against Germany, and is spending this summer as an intern at the Tikvah Fund in New York
